Attention actors in the greater Seattle area! Auditions are happening NOW for the PNW premiere (courtesy of Baker Theater Workshop) of my award-winning, full-length play Life on the Moon. The show will run in December with rehearsals starting late October at ReAct Theatre. Stipend $300. Auditions are digital and due September 30th. This play has never been produced or even workshopped anywhere west of the Central Time Zone, so I’m over the moon (sorry, couldn’t help myself!) to finally bring it to my west coast home with some of my favorite Seattle theatre artists (producer Peter Temes and director Jeremy Radick). Come join the Krewe and be part of this thing I made!

About the Project
Baker Theater Workshop is looking for actors for our latest production of Life on the Moon by Anna Tatelman! This PNW debut production is being directed by Jeremy Radick.
Life on the Moon is a socio-political family drama about Spencer, a young infantryman in the U.S. army, returning home for Christmas to visit his parents and Piper, his eighteen-year-old sister with autism. As Spencer and his parents struggle to celebrate the holiday, it’s Piper who notices what everyone else misses, but is unable to communicate her observations or frustrations.
Life on the Moon received its professional debut at the Detroit Repertory Theatre and has also been produced by two universities. This script was the winner of both the Inkslinger Playwriting Competition and the Triad Shakes Theatre's New Play Contest.
Rehearsals start 10/27 and will run Mon-Thurs evenings.
Life on the Moon will run 12/12 -12/14 & 12/19 - 12/21, with an industry preview night on 12/8.
